Impending free agent LeGarrette Blount said he "hopes" to re-sign with the Eagles.
Most free agents say the same, but Blount was effusive in his praise of the organization and coaching staff. "Obviously, I like it a lot there. They like me a lot there," Blount said. "I feel like [RBs coach Duce Staley] is one of the best running back coaches, one of the best coaches I’ve ever had in my entire life." Blount added Philadelphia "is a place that I love." The Eagles have salary cap concerns and a crowded backfield, but perhaps Blount will give them a home-town discount.
