Giants coach Pat Shurmur was non-committal on Brandon Marshall's (ankle) place on the team.
"We'll have to see," Shurmur said. Marshall has yet to pass a physical after undergoing season-ending surgery last October. Once he is able to, it is likely the Giants decide to move on. New York can save $5.16 million against the cap by cutting him.

The New York Post's Paul Schwartz believes Brandon Marshall is a candidate to be cut this offseason.
We would go further and say it would be a surprise if he is not. Marshall expects to be recovered from his season-ending ankle injury in time for the offseason program, but he will be a 34-year-old coming off a serious injury who has struggled each of the last two seasons. Perhaps a pay cut could keep him on the roster, but it seems more likely the Giants cut him outright, saving $5.15 million against the cap.
