Bears TE Zach Miller (injured reserve) had to undergo eight surgeries on his injured left leg.
According to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson, Miller has "no timetable to resume a normal life," but is confident it will happen. Miller hasn't given up on the idea of returning to football, but the 33-year-old tight end's career is likely over. From a contractual standpoint, Miller will be a 2018 free agent.
