Giants placed Tavarres King on injured reserve with a concussion.
This was always likely after he was ruled out for Week 17. King recorded 18 catches for 240 yards and three touchdowns for the Giants with almost all of that damage coming after Week 9. It is unlikely he even gets the low tender as a restricted free agent, but the Giants could look to bring him back for less on a one-year deal. OL Nick Becton and TE Ryan O'Malley were promoted from the practice squad in corresponding moves.

Tavarres King (concussion) is out for Week 17 against the Redskins.
King was concussed in Week 15. Needed after a slew of injuries at receiver for the G-Men, King caught 18 passes for 240 yards and three scores across eight games. King is headed for restricted free agency in March.
