Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome admitted the team is basically resetting at the wide receiver position.
It's long overdue. 30-year-old (in May) Jeremy Maclin is a top candidate to be cut, which would clear $5 million in cap space, and 31-year-old Mike Wallace is a free agent. ESPN's Jeff Zrebiec doesn't expect either to be back with the team. Michael Campanaro is also a free agent, and Newsome said training camp is a "make or break" one for 2015 first-rounder Breshad Perriman. Chris Moore is all that's left. Baltimore could get involved on Jarvis Landry.

ESPN's Jamison Hensley believes Jeremy Maclin is a "top candidate to get cut."
The Ravens are strapped for cap space heading into 2018, and cutting Maclin would create $5 million in additional room. It seems like an easy move considering how little Maclin did even when he was on the field -- 40 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games -- but Mike Wallace heading into free agency complicates the decision. Perhaps a pay cut would work for both sides.

Jeremy Maclin (knee) is doubtful for Week 17 against the Bengals.
He'll miss his second straight game. It's not much of a loss for Baltimore's passing game. Mike Wallace (knee) is fully expected to play despite being listed questionable.
