The Packers will meet with Eddie Lacy's agent this week.
The Packers are interested in bringing Lacy back, but it's not clear if he'll be re-signed before free agency. Lacy is looking to rehab his value after struggling through weight issues and an ankle injury last year. A prove-it deal with the Packers makes sense for both sides.

Free agent Eddie Lacy revealed that he had wires, two screws, and a plate inserted into his right ankle during his November surgery.
"I messed up my deltoid (ligament) and widened the bone on my ankle, so I had to get two screws, two wires and a plate to fix it," Lacy disclosed. "(The deltoid) is the longest thing to heal." Lacy said he was given a 4-6 month timetable, and "February was the fourth month." While the operation was major, Lacy still expects to "be able to go out and do everything" by the start of OTAs.
