Eagles coach Doug Pederson confirmed RB Donnel Pumphrey (hamstring, injured reserve) is done for the season.
There was some talk he would return late in the season, but he is out for the year with a torn hamstring. Pumphrey earned some praise in the offseason program, but he struggled once the pads came on. He will try to earn a role next spring.

Eagles rookie RB Donnel Pumphrey tore his hamstring in practice this week and is out indefinitely.
Pumphrey was a healthy scratch in Week 1 and wasn't going to play this week anyway, but this is a blow to his development process. Dubbed the "next Darren Sproles" like so many others before him, Pumphrey didn't look like he belonged in the NFL this preseason. The 5'9/176 satellite back will likely go on I.R.
