Carlos Hyde rushed 15 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns while adding 10 yards receiving on two catches in Sunday's Week 17 win against the Rams.

Hyde finishes the season with 940 rushing yards on 240 carries and eight touchdowns. His rushing yardage was lower than the 988 yards he posted last year on just 215 carries as his efficiency dropped. His 3.9 YPC were the lowest mark of his career, but Hyde made up for that with a career-year in the touchdown department to go along with catching the ball out of the backfield, snagging 57 passes for 340 yards. This was Hyde’s final season on his rookie contract as he will hit unrestricted free agency this offseason. A return to San Francisco would be ideal for retaining his current fringe-RB1 fantasy status, but his landing spot in free agency will play a large role in how he’s regarded for fantasy purposes heading into 2018.

Carlos Hyde rushed 21 times for 54 yards and a touchdown and caught 3-of-3 targets for 19 yards in the 49ers' Week 16 win over the Jaguars.

It was a highly inefficient effort from Hyde, who struggled to find open running lanes but did turn in an RB2-caliber fantasy effort by way of sheer volume and his goal-line score. Hyde may play his final game in a 49ers uniform when San Francisco visits the Rams in Week 17. Hyde is up for free agency in March.
