Carlos Hyde rushed 17 times for 98 yards in the 49ers' Week 10 win over the Giants, adding two receptions for six additional yards.
The 98 yards rushing were Hyde's second most of the season, though the two receptions were also his fewest in five games, and second fewest of the year. With the 49ers controlling the game, Matt Breida was worked in liberally, touching the ball 10 times and scoring a 33-yard touchdown. Although matchups haven't mattered much for Hyde because of how often he's catching the ball, the Seahawks will be a daunting Week 12 opponent when the 49ers come off bye.

Carlos Hyde was ejected late in the fourth quarter Week 9 against the Cardinals for fighting.
Hyde did not do much in a scrum following a late hit on C.J. Beathard, but he was tossed anyway. He racked up 41 yards on 12 carries and 84 yards on a team-high nine catches before being tossed, with several of those receptions as the 49ers were in comeback mode late in the game. Hyde also could have had a touchdown, but he was vultured at the goal line by Beathard. Assuming he is not suspended -- it would be a miscarriage of justice if he was -- Hyde will be a good play against a struggling Giants defense next week.

Carlos Hyde rushed 12 times for 25 yards in the 49ers' Week 8 loss to the Eagles.
Hyde led the team with nine targets in the pass game, but he caught just four of them for 22 yards. A ton of those passes were off-target throws from rookie C.J. Beathard, who was consistently throwing behind his receivers, forcing them to contort their bodies to make tough catches. Hyde seemed to get phased out a bit in the second half, with Matt Breida turning a shovel pass into a 21-yard touchdown and getting several more looks in the red zone late in the game. Hyde will look to bounce back next week at home against Arizona.
