Bryce Petty completed 19-of-36 passes for 232 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Patriots.
After being pressed into action after Josh McCown was lost for the season, Petty confirmed the doubts of his play that he established as a rookie. Over the final three and a half games, Petty completed just 49.1 percent of his passes for 4.9 yards per attempt. With the Jets expected to make a push to retain Josh McCown while also adding youth to the position this offseason, Petty will likely be fighting for a roster spot in 2018.

Bryce Petty completed 14-of-27 passes for 114 yards and an interception in Week 16 against the Chargers.
It's another bad game from Petty, who made his only completions on check downs. Petty has shown very little in his two starts, getting held under 200 yards in consecutive weeks. It's possible the Jets turn to Christian Hackenberg in Week 17.
