Bilal Powell rushed nine times for 74 yards in the Jets' Week 9 rout of the Bills.
Powell carried the ball on the Jets' first snap, but was once again in a timeshare with Matt Forte. Powell's elder teammate out-touched him 18-9, and played more than twice as many snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. The rushing yards were Powell's second most of the season, but Forte's refusal to go away will make Powell a low-end FLEX for Week 10 against the Bucs.

Bilal Powell rushed 14 times for 33 yards and caught 3-of-3 targets for 28 yards in the Jets' Week 8 loss to the Falcons.
Powell and Matt Forte played the same number of snaps (29), but Powell won the battle in touches 17 to 10. The Jets' running game simply never got going, so neither paid off as Week 8 flex options. In an even timeshare, both Powell and Forte will be low-end flex plays when the Jets host the Bills in Week 9.

Bilal Powell spanned 43 yards on nine carries while adding two catches for 40 yards Sunday in the Jets’ Week 7 loss to the Dolphins.
Powell came bursting out of the gates with a 31-yard catch-and-run on New York’s first play from scrimmage. He saw more carries than backfield mate Matt Forte (9-5) but Forte was more involved in the passing game with five catches for 41 yards. Notably, Powell got the first crack at goal-line work following a Jay Cutler interception, but was stuffed for no gain. Powell didn’t get another chance from that distance as Josh McCown kept it himself for a one-yard touchdown on the following play. With Forte eating into his workload, Powell will merely be a flex option against the Falcons in Week 8.
