ArDarius Stewart caught 1-of-2 targets for 46 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Patriots.
The third-round pick from Alabama struggled to find the field during his inaugural campaign. After playing 38 snaps in Week 1, Stewart managed to get on the field for more than 14 snaps just once for the remainder of the season. He closed his rookie season with more rushing attempts (seven) than receptions (six) on just 13 targets. With Robby Anderson established as the lead receiver for the Jets, Stewart will need some dominoes to fall in his place to carve out a substantial role in the offense for the 2018 season.

ArDarius Stewart caught 2-of-5 targets for 10 yards in Week 1 against Buffalo.
Stewart started with Jeremy Kerley a healthy scratch. He looked explosive on both his catches, but was behind Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson for targets. Kerley could cut into Stewart's snaps if active next week.

ESPN New York expects WR ArDarius Stewart to be a Week 1 inactive.
This would be surprising with Stewart coming off a strong preseason. The Jets added middling veterans Jermaine Kearse and Jeremy Kerley behind Robby Anderson, but there's a top-four role for Stewart with Jalin Marshall suspended. It's possible Stewart's lack of special teams value will make him a healthy scratch.
